I still think that you should keep the two little dogs and make sure that your girl friend has a new little Yorkie puppy of her own when she settles into her new home.
This way you'd have two happy people and three happy little Yorkies.
Of course, this solution would cost a few $$$$ --- but it would be well worth it in the long run.
