All the posts just go to show that every placement should be on a case by case basis. Without children in the home Christmas can be a very relaxing time of the year. I find I have much more time to enjoy life and celebrate by baking a little more, listening to Christmas music and going to see Christmas lights. Sounds kind of boring, but after years of spending the majority of the time in stores trying to find the toy that every child wanted (and no one had - this year I think it is Elmo!) holidays would be a great time to bring a puppy (if I was in the market) into my home. |
