as the step monther of a 16 year old girl and 14 year old boy and the mother of a 13 year old boy and an 11 and 3.5 year old girls. I have to say in my house it would be longer than 2 months. I am sorry if some of think that is harsh but sneaking a boy in is a major thing. Just because there were two girls there doesn't mean it was anything innocent or a prank! I have heard what the girls at the local high schools do.
at my step kids house or at ours they would get the same punishment and that would be doing nothing but go to school and come home for two months minimum. Then after that we could work on getting back cell phone, computer, tv , and friends. Will they be happy with us? No! Do I care, no. I only care that I do everything in my power to make sure they do not get pregnant, raped, or anything else. I can not believe how easy some of you would be on your kids, breaking trust is a huge issue and should be dealt with as such. As for the friend and the boy, parents would be notified and my daughter wouldn't be allowed around them anymore, period!We firmly believe that while we are strict our children are very well adjusted , have a great social life, and are good kids. |
