Wow.......it amazes me at how many mom's on here would give just a slap on the wrist!! I am a 30 year old mom and I have 2 children...boy and girl....they are still young, but god knows if I ever catch either one pulling something like this, there will be more than just restriction from the computer or come in by dark!!! I had a very lenient mother growing up and that wasn't always the best thing. Maybe I just look at this through different eyes! I too did my share of sneaking around and maybe if my mother would have taken some serious action with me......well, all I am saying is that I had a simialar situation happen to me when I was 14 years old and me and my friend were talked into sneaking out of her house by the boys......needless to say, something was taken away from me that night that changed me forever! I think my mom thought sneaking out was 'normal' and no harm could come from it, so I always recieved very little punishment.......I always wondered as an adult, that if my mom had actually given me major punishment for the times before, would I have even went out that window that night? Who knows....I did finally talk to my mom about what happen to me years later. I guess my whole point is, don't make your daughter think that sneaking boys into the house is worth 'no computer for a week'.....sometimes it's worth a whole lot more!!!!

I plan on calling the kids mother and my daughters g/f's mom. My daughter is grounded from the phone and computer and she cant go anywhere with friends. Is 2 months to long for the 1st offence? lol
