We were afraid she'd have to have a C-section, but she ended up having them naturally! It was such a surprise, because we thought we had another week. They're big, healthy, and adorable, which is such a blessing!
However, we're afraid Roxie is not producing enough milk. It has been 24 hours since the puppies' birth and they are crying a lot. I have read on other websites that if the puppies are content they will not cry. I'm afraid if we don't solve the problem quickly we might lose these fragile cuties. Do you have any suggestions of supplements for her or for the puppies? |
HI Welcome to Yt Have you called your vet? I know it does take a bit for the milk to fully come in. Are they trying to nurse? Is momma staying with them or not intrested? Do you have them away from the action of your house in a warm quiet place? Ifyou are really concerned Please take them to the vet Pups and Mom. If your vet is not open go to the pet ER. Good luck and let us know please.
