You don't have to have 20 carbs a day to lose. Many people have to find success in much less than that. Check your italian dressing. They have carb options salad dressings, we get the ranch, it is so yummy and 0 carbs. We put that on everything, like dipping chicken in... You have to get off the diet coke as much as possible and drink more water. Have you bought the ketone testing strips? You get them at the pharmacy. We call those our mini weight watcher meetings. LOL Get some and see if you are in ketosis.
My mom is 56 and used to be real successful at this diet. But now she has to work harder at it. She is a diet coke addict and thinks that both the diet coke and her age/hormones keep her from losing as much weight as she used to be able to, but she still does, just takes longer. Good luck!! |
