My husband's sugar was as high as your husband's. He also has high blood pressure and extremely high cholesterol, like they can't even get an accurate reading, it's so high

He is 32 and was on 9 pills a day. That is ridiculous. Even if you are not successful on this diet, stay with it just so your husband will do it! I am so scared for my husband's health. Anyway, tell me what you are eating. You should have lost atleast 5 pounds of water weight the first week as the diet is a natural diuretic. How many carbs do you think you are consuming a day? How much weight do you have to lose? We've basically been doing the Atkins diet, I was real strict on how many carbs I consumed for the first few weeks, like hardly none, but lately I've been adding few more and still losing. So that makes the diet a little more manageable for me to stick with it.
