I feel bad for your little guy! That must hurt. Be very careful if you cut his nails...you have to make sure you don't cut the quick, which is hard to see because their nails are black. This is what I do...Sadie DOES NOT like having her nails cut so,,,,,when I give her a bath (every 2 weeks) I put enough water in the sink to cover her feet, this will soften the nails and they won't make quite a "click" sound and scare them...this has worked for me...I started cutting Lillies as soon as I got her...she is now 22 wks old...I do need someone to hold her because she is a puppy and wants to play..but she is easier to do than Sadie. Do you think maybe he was born with a defective nail? I would have thought it would have bled if he pulled it that bad. poor little furguy!
