A liver shunt is a condition in which one or more blood vessels bypasses the liver, and the blood is not cleansed of it's toxins.
A pre/post meal blood test is done and will indicate if liver shunt MIGHT be a problem. If the test results come back suspicious, more tests are required in order to determine if the pup has a LS. |
