You don't owe anyone an apology, and I hope that after things settle down for you a bit you are able to see that noone here meant any harm either. You know how it is around here....the dogs are Number 1!!!!
I've defended other people here before when they've needed to rehome their dogs, but in this case I think you've made the right decision. Not that MY opinion matters
, but I really think you would have missed Kizzy so much. And I'm glad that your husband is supporting you, and I think you're right, I think HE doesn't want to lose Kizzy either!
I know the holidays can be so stressful when things are tense in the family. I hope that you are able to find a measure of peace, and ENJOY THOSE DOGS!!!
