Thanks for the ideas. The first couple of nights, I was mixing in a little bit of chicken & carrots still, but the little stinker picked through & ate the good stuff only (making a nice mess on the floor).
I never thought of freezing the chicken.....good idea because really I wouldn't mind keeping him on a diet with real meat mixed in, if I weren't having to cook it constantly. The rice has to go though, because he choked on it once & it scared me to death!
I guess I'll go back to mixing for awhile & try to be patient!! |
