I have four cats. One is on a diet, one needs extra calories and the other two just need to keep the status quo. Cats are nibblers by nature, but the one on the diet will eat hers and everything else in sight if I am not right on top of her. What do I do? I do supervised feedings. They eat what they can eat in 15 minutes time, or until they are done with the sitting. Thats it. Nothing more until the next meal. The fat cat gets the diet food. The skinny cat gets the high cal food, the others get the maintenance formula. So far, this has worked out quite well. My cats are no longer nibblers. They now know that if they don't eat, they won't get to eat again for quite some time. Oh yes, they only eat twice a day. If you can't do supervised feedings, you might try placing the nibbler in a gated off room or an expen with food, during the day if you cannot be home. Good luck to you.
