 Another question about puppy coats
My puppy got skin mites (scabies) 4 weeks ago. This caused him to bite and scratch his hindquarters unceasingly. We took him to the vet, and with treatment he is much, much better. Here is my problem: When he was biting he was also pulling out his fur. Now he is almost bald on his hindquarters. He has not been biting himself now for the 3 weeks, but his fur does not seem to be growing back! Will his puppy fur grow back? Will he be bald until his adult coat grows in? Or is he (heaven forbid) going to have a bald butt forever? |
