What if you got a tray (like the ones intended for breakfast in bed) and painted it and then doucapaged (sp?) them onto the bottom? If they are really think, you could put a piece of glass/plexiglass over it, but if are about cardstock paper thick, I don't think the glass would be needed.

Also, if her room will be ready in time for Christmas decorating, you could attach a metallic thread and use them (probably just the bigger ones) as ornaments on a small Christmas tree.

To make the backs more attractive you could take a better piece of paper, trace the cut out, and glue it, sandwiching the thread hanger.
