When I lift up Hootie's hair to see the roots, there is no sign of silver. There may be some very dark charcoal colors emerging, but definately not silver. I have always wanted a black yorkie, and her mother was black, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that she'll stay pretty dark. Of course, I'll love her no matter what color she is!
