I am going to try some of the suggestions for low protein diet homemade the commercial ones she will not eat and I find when she stops eating thats when we have problems. Hope Bella is feeling better soon, I just want to tell you that my Gucci had liver shunt and was operated on this past August. She was on lactutose and they had put her on Hills prescription L/D, for low protein, mention this to your vet. Gucci is able to eat regular dog food now, but since she is doing well with the l/d diet I have decided to keep her on it. She eats it and the vet said thats fine.
