Vets get offered a lot of incentives to push Science Diet because this company makes the most popular "special" diet food available only at the vet's office.

Learn about food, by-products, fillers, too much cheap processed grains, artificial colors and flavors, etc.

Just go to the manufacturers' sites and look at the ingredients.

You'll want natural, organic, nutrient-dense foods, human-grade.

Don't rely on PetSmart or PetCo (although, PetCo does carry Natural Balance), and especially not a grocery store or supermarket. Shop at the local pet supply store, even easier is shopping on line.
