It worked beautifully for us although, I must say, it didn't happen overnight. Joey used to be protective of new bones. Now, he nudges us with them because he wants us to hold them for him while he chews on them. (You can almost hear him thinking, "Man, I wish *I* had opposable thumbs. You guys are sooo lucky".) Too cute!
