Thank you all for the input! I am hoping it is just because of her puppy coat that she is matting...she does have a cottony coat though. She mostly matts around her britches, tiny ones on her chest, around her shoulder area (under) and some behind her legs...she isn't really bad but, I know if I don't start taking care of them now I am going to have to have her hair cut... I have used the Cowboy Magic but, I can't get the matts out...maybe because she HATES getting brushed and jumps and whines like I'm killing her LOL and,,,,,I am hardly pulling. The way her coat looks now I think she is going to have a beautiful coat,...lots of work but beautiful...Sadie (adult and I hate to say this but,) I could go a couple of weeks without brushing and she would never matt...silky coat but, not as pretty as Lillies...
