I am having a really hard time with deciding what to do. Not everyone knows the whole story, so I'll start at the beginning...

I found a little girl with a breeder who is here on YT. I really liked her (the breeder) and the little girl was just what I wanted...
I had some personal stuff come up, and thought I wasn't going to be able to get my little princess... so like any normal full grown woman, I called my mom & cried about it. The next day, my mom found a yorkie in the paper, and got it for me.

This little girl (Annabelle) seemed to be just what I was looking for... age wise, size wise, and sweet as can be. She's even silky, and had papers. The woman knocked her price down because this pup has a hernia, and might require surgery.

So I brought her to the vet yesterday.

She does have a hernia; she also has almost a full set of baby teeth still (double row of teeth at almost 10m). She also has tapeworms. She also has stage 3 LP.

I emailed the woman to let her know, because she has the parents and it's my understanding that LP is genetic... those dogs should not be bred again... right?

She said that almost all 'toy' dogs have LP, and that she's had dogs since the 70's who've had it with no surgeries or problems. she said that the dog had her shots and was wormed, but it's not a one time thing (which I know, but you can't kill tapeworms with OTC wormers). She basically said that she paid a lot of money for Annabelle's mom, and I got a great deal, and if I wasn't happy, I can bring the dog back.

I am at a loss. I need some thoughts and feedback... I have really started to bond with Annabelle. She loves me, and I really don't want her to go anywhere, but I don't have all that money right now.

I am so upset, I apologize about how long this is, I just really needed to get it out. I don't know if I should just get done what I can, when I can, or find her a home that can do all the needed things at once... I love her, but want what's best for her...
