The one I have is rounded and curved. on the end and is sharp only on the inside. It would be hard to cut your self with it, or your yorkie except at the ears or the genital area, especially on boys!.
I definitely wouldnt use this on ears because the ears are flexible and they could slip into the inside sharp area. I use mine on the ouside body area only.
ANd it definitely shouldnt be left out for children to get ahold of, lil fingers could get into the blade area if they really wanted too.
