I had Bailey done last Thanksgiving weekend for the same reason. The first night she was so out of it; I had brought her bed with us in the car and wrapped her lightly with her blanket and placed her in her bed. I had to change her blanket and towels several times that night and the next day because she just peed in her bed. The anesthesia just knocked her out.
She was wobbly the next day, and 2 days later she was running around & eating. Our vet glued her incision so we never had to go back to have stitches out, she hardly even has a scar now.
