I would add one step inbetween picking it up and carrying it around -- I would sit on the floor beside the carrier and lift the carrier into my lap -- don't force her to stay inside, but if she chooses to, then praise her like there is no tomorrow. If she jumps out, then just quietly put her back inside the carier and try again. Then lift the carrier and put it back down on the floor. Continue until you can just lift the carrier from the floor to your lap with you sitting on the floor. Then do the same thing from the floor with you standing up.... Once Starr is comfortable with that.... then try walking around the house a bit --
