I need some help on trying to train Bella to go out in a carrier. Sorry this is so long! I went out x-mas shopping this weekend and thought we would give it a try. I did not think she would mind the bag at all since she loves her crate and loves people. Well boy did I think wrong. I borrowed a bag from my mom (who used to be able to carry her yorkie around in it until she got too big), well we went into the department store and she was okay for a couple minutes, then she started barking when she would her something and then she kept trying to get out of the bag. It has a zipper and another little place if youwant to unzip it for their head to peek out. My mom and I were trying to keep her in the bag that she was so desperately trying to escape,and we ended up getting her hair caught in the zipper she was crying, it was a total disaster. We had to take her to the car and leave her in her carrier. I really want to be able to take her out with us, and I have taken her into Lowes and a couple other places but I have always held her and she does fine. I asked for the Coach doggie carrier for x-mas and I guess I need to figure out if she is going to be able to do it before my husband spends that much on the carrier. Please help me with any training advice!
