It's funny that I saw your post just now while I am watching our 7 yr old yellow lab giving kisses to our 3 month old yorkie. When we first brought Butch home I didnt know if they would ever get along, now less that 1 month later they chase each other around the house or the yard and give each other kisses. I agree that their play should be supervised especially with a puppy, but Shooter and Butch are buds now and usually get along just fine.
