I love Thanksgiving and all the food.....so it is hard to narrow it done, but I will try!
Crockpot dressing
easy and yummy
Make an 8" pan of cornbread (self rising cornmeal type)
Need:
8 slices of toasted bread
4 eggs
1 med. onion (chopped)
1/2 cup celery (chopped)
1 1/2 Tablespoon sage
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 cans cream of chicken soup
2 cans chicken broth
2 Tablespoon butter
Crumble bread and cornbread, add all other ingredients, except butter, mix in bowl. Pour into crockpot and dot w/ pats of butter. Cover and cook on High for 2 Hours or on Low for 3-4 Hours.
Makes 16 servings (at 6oz each)....as if I stick to the serving size!
