Submissive urination is a very common behavior. Some pups outgrow it and some don't. Like it or not, Erin is 100% right on what to do.
Pancake cannot control this behavior when she is excited/stressed. Anything that excites or stresses her when she's already so excited will only make it worse. Scolding her for it WILL stress her more. Acknowledging her when you first get home WILL excite her more. Both will cause an increase in the undesired behavior.
When Erin said "ignore her for a while", she means IGNORE HER. Pancake is invisible for the first few minutes when you walk in. Do not acknowledge her and, if you want this behavior to stop, do not play with her (it excites her more). Ignore her. When she stops her excitedness and looks like "Gosh, what did I do wrong?", only then, can you see her and VERY calmly acknowledge her.
If you don't want her peeing on other people, you need to have them follow the same protocol.
