When I was 16 my first job was a pet store...I can tell you for a fact that ALL puppies were from puppy mills and we buried MORE than were sold...it was sick..sick...sick!!! When I came to work in the morning my stomache would flip flop all the way there because I was afraid to see which puppies were dead THAT morning. There are alot of practices that I wont bother to mention as they are too grusome to tell. The "heathier" ones were sold, but let me tell you, MOST of those ones were on the brink of death for a few weeks before they pulled through and went in the display glass to be sold. As soon as the pups showed even one good day of health..boom..they were put up for sale. I wanted to quit soooooooooooo bad but my dad wouldnt let me quit as I was paying off my first car...I ended up getting myself fired (little does Dad know to this day I got myself fired) within a couple months that store went out of business...but there are millions more out there and that was 18 years ago!!
I also wanted to ad that the pet store owner told EVERYONE that these purebred pups came from reputable breeders!! No one that came in ever questioned that statement...EVER!!
