thanks for the reply, I have tried not paying attention to her and this seems to work a lot of the time. Usually, when I get home I will get her favorite toy to try to distract her so she will forget she is excited and will want to play. But food is a really good idea. Mostly though it is when other people come around. I could be out walking Pancake and someone will stop to pet her and she will pee on them! Yikes

. Or if I'm holding Pancake in my arms and a stranger (or anyone else i know who she doesn't see regularly) walks up to see her, she will pee all over me. Now I have never scolded her for this, I will say "no pee, pee on mat" or something like that. I know that these breeds can be nervous doggies and I am so glad Pancake isn't. I wouldn't want to yell at her and scare her or make her feel sad and then have her be scared of people when she loves people so much.
I just would like it if she didn't pee on people when they pick her up, she is the nicest best behaved doggie, this is my only concern with her. I don't know if she will outgrow this, I've read that they do. But I don't see really how I could stop her from peeing if I am not around and someone goes to pick her up? I guess I should have included this point in my original post. Thanks for the reply and I would appreciate any other suggestions!
