 She pees when she sees me!
Pancake is almost a year old now and is completely pad trained! But if me or my boyfriend have been gone for a while and come home, she gets so excited and pees on the floor. Even sometimes when my bf is playing with her and sometimes uses a deep voice, Pancake will think he is angry and she pees. It's kinda cute actually, she lifts her little leg about a centimeter of the floor, oh I love her so much. But the peeing is too much. I've read it's a submissive sort of thing, and they do it because they think it pleases their owners, and then the owners scold them for it, and to please them they pee for them and it is this vicious circle kind of thing. Frankly, I don't really believe this. A dog knows how to please their owners, it's what they live for. And if we scold her for peeing when she gets excited I don't think she would do it some more to "please" us. Anyway, is there anyone out there who has had the same problem? Anyone have any remedies?
