Your pet shop must be the exception to the rule, and for that, I'm thankful for you and Chewy
I wasn't as lucky myself, unfortunately, but Luna is doing much better now and we probably saved her life. I hate to think what could have happened to her if someone with less Yorkie knowledge (not that I'm an expert or anything) had purchased her. I wish all pet stores treated their animals nicely, but it all comes down to the almighty dollar to most of them.
I know that people will still buy from pet stores, it's just a fact of life. It doesn't make us bad people, and YES, these animals also need love and would probably just be euthanized if not bought quickly enough
