Blood test are not usually needed on young healthy pups,but if it makes you more comfortable by all means ask your vet,you may also wish to discuss removing any remaining baby teeth while he's out,save's you money plus he'll only be sleepy time once as opposed to twice. and you'll only have to worry once which we know you will instead of twice....lol
