Good luck.

When I quit cold turkey 23 years ago, I never told myself that I couldn't have another one. I carried a pack in my purse and had a full carton on top of my refrigerator.

I took it one hour at a time. I'd tell myself to wait one hour, and by then I'd be busy, then when I got the craving I'd make myself wait one hour. that is what got me through. Because, like you, when I thought of never having another cigarette I'd panic.

After the first day it gets easier because you know you can do it, and you become more determined. so make sure you have plenty of things lined up to keep you busy for the first day.

I also crocheted, it's hard to smoke while crocheting
