Oh you are a wonderful person for adopting him I didn't have a yorkie with one but I did have a shelty. She got out of the underground fence and was hit by a car (driver did not stop) Any way the vet said the same. I had just had a baby but I slept on the floor with My shelty every night so she could be close to me. my bed room had hard wood floors and she could not move well. She would cry if I left her.I had to carry her One hand in the front at the chest and one hand between the back legs. If you tried to carry with the hand infront of the hind legs it hurt her. I would carry her out to go potty she walked but with pain. then pick her up and carry her back up the steps to the house. Good luck and God bless you for your wonderful act of kindness.

Oh and Welcome toYt
