Unhappy Vomiting for Two Days Now!

My 1 year 4 month old Yorkie (Boo Bear) has been vomiting now for two days straight. We took him to the vet today, but are still concerned since two possibilities were explained to us. The first cause was a gastrical problem which is being treated now with a prescribed diet and medicine, but the other possible cause (intestinal blockage of some sort) is pretty scary to me. He is acting completely normal, very active, playful, his normal self, but after eating, anywhere from 2 - 5 hours later, he will vomit. Immediately after vomiting he is good to go again like nothing happened. The vet didn't seem to concerned about the possibility of some sort of blockage (X-Ray did show something in his stomach, but the vet said it could be food from earlier), but it just doesn't seem like something I want to wait on too long if there is indeed something in his system that is stuck! He hasn't gotten sick since this morning (9:00 am), since then we've been feeding him only a tiny portion (one tablespoon) every two hours. Let me know what you all think! Thanks
