I'll tell ya, I was really nervous too. I am (or was ) more of a cat person. I was not used to having to train something to go potty (except my kids), and also having to stay on top of them constantly. I really felt I had another toddler in the house! I am a real neat freak, probably border line OCD and the thought of peeing and pooping on my floors

Before I got Harley I read a whole bunch about what to do and not to do.... I was a nervous wreck! When I brought him home he was 8 weeks and we started right then on the training. We got a routine down. He had to learn what he could and couldnt do and I am real consistant! I don't let the little cute face fool me! I am a stay at home mom so I am with him constantly and I truly think that makes a big difference in the training thing. He is going on 17 weeks and I cant remember the last time he had an accident. Just today I bought some bells and yarn, from reading on here about people using those for the pups to signal when they need to go out. I hung them on the door earlier and he has rang them 3 times so far to go out and potty.... You talk about a smart! I can't get over how smart these guys are. I told my husband when he got home to watch how he would ring the bell and Harley went to the door, rang the bells and went out and peed. 10 minutes later he went back and rang them again, my husband said "i think he just likes playing with them".... well he went out and pooped! I was soo proud! No regrets for sure!

Don't feel alone about feeling nervous. Its a big step and alot of work and commitment but I'm sure you will be happy!
