I'm no expert...but this is what I do. I marked Burtis's picture as best I could as to where I would cut.
I always cut the pieces of fur on the top of the snout and bewteen the eyes to about 1/4 of an inch (this keeps it out of the eyes). Then i cut the top of the head and between the ears (including the hairs that grow around the ears) to about 1/2-3/4 of an inch. Then I trim the cheeks to about 1/2 of an inch. But personally I like the "wisker/beard" area to be a little longer. Judging the the picture you posted of Brutis...I would probably leave that alone entirely this time.
I hope this helps...of course it is all just a personal preference as to how you want their face to look. I try to get it as close to how she looked as a baby as I can. |
