I don't know what to do..... I was outside with the puppy and my other dogs when one of my kids screamed in the house. I ran in the house to see what the matter was and I accidently shut the door on the puppy. She is 11 1/2 wks old. She yelped really loud and when I picked her up to see she bit me. She's not putting any pressure on the leg at all. She is walking when I call her to me but she's holding her leg up and against her body. I tried my vet but he won't be home until 9. What should I do? Is this something that can wait or do I need to start calling the vets in the phone book? The nearest emergency vet hospital is more than 2 hrs from me. Please give me some advise. Also she already has a vet appointment tomorrow for a check up to make sure there's nothing wrong with her since she's been crying so much since I got her.
