My bf's mom is a wine drinker. One year we signed her up for a wine of the month club. The company sent her one bottle of really good wine per month. Other years I have gotten her jewelry (necklace, earrings, or bracelets).
My bf's dad is into outdoor sports - fishing, shooting, etc so I've gotten him a few gift certificates to an outdoor sporting good store.
