I Agree with Yorkieluv. I'm not a breeder, yet. But I do know that it is not wise to Breeding a 3lb Yorkie due to a Lot of complications that could arise. You could end up losing your dog and the puppies.

It's a very risky thing to do at all if the female is that small. It would be best to at least breed a female that is at least 5-7 lbs in my opinion.

Also if the male is bigger in size/weight than the female, a lot more complications could arise. I do hope that you reconsider breeding such a small tiny baby. AKC standard recognizes that Yorkies should be up to 7lbs. although i love tinies, they are very, very, very hard to take care of, especially when pregnant at that size.
