Thanks!! Dolce's Mom! I think the key for Toto was persistence! She is 16 months and is just beginning to obey "stay"! We even had a trainer to come to our house when we were in Lake Charles! We also got a firmer "I really mean business" tone in our voice! For the past few days she runs to the door but when we tell her to stay ... she does!! She learns other things after just a couple of tries ... I think she just didn't want to stay!! Keep up the good work! The next thing we are going to work on is to stop her from jumping up! She can jump almost waist high on me [of course, I'm not even 5 ft. tall] but I'm afraid all that jumping will injure her little knees so I am going to drag out the training books and begin to teach her not to do that! Will let you know how she does.
