I wouldn't even be worried -- what your pup is doing sounds like normal puppy behavior to me.

My new little Yorkie pup (8 weeks old) drove my Bichon crazy - jumping, chewing, and chasing him. And - my Bichon - like your dog - had the patience of Job and just put up with it.

I often took my Bichon and put him on my bed so he could stretch out and take a nap in peace - where the little puppy couldn't get to him. Or - I'd let him go outside for a while and enjoy some peace and quiet.

Tday - they have been together for more than a year - and they are playful friends and enjoy being together most of the time.

I don't think you can stop puppies from behaving like puppies.

Besides - we told my Bichon - "What goes around comes around." -- because this is exactly the way he treated my other dog when he was just a little pup.

Good luck! Carol Jean
