Ya know, one of my Yorkies had skin problems for a about year - due to allergies what my vet told me. I would take him in to get cortizone shots every so often or antibiotics would be prescribed. BUT - since I have started cooking meals for my dogs, the skin problems have completely gone away, his skin and coat look great! I really enjoy cooking for my Yorkies too, nothing warms my heart more to see my dogs eat like little pigs over something I made for them. I bought a doggie receipe book to I know what is OK to give them and what isn't. I am not sure if cooking for you dog is something you can do but it might be something to consider to see if it clears up the allergies. |
