The first thing we do is not charge for the grooming and by the time the owner comes to pick up the dog it has already been to my vet and I have paid the bill. If it needed further care I would always pay for it.

Owners do not bring their dogs to the groomers to be hurt, but it can happen and if you tell the owners about it and you have taken care of the problem , they may or may not forgive you, but that is just the way it is. When I was a hair dresser I can remember the girls sometimes cutting a ear or something, if this can happen on a woman sitting still it can happen on a small moving target.

It is not the accident we can not forgive, it was her response that was unacceptable, and you do need to make sure she pays the vet bills it is her responsibility.
Well said Grooming isn't cheap and Iw ould love to have a trustworthy groomer, that even if he/she did accidentally cut my baby, that they would have taken care of the needs at that time. Your clients are very lucky to have you
