We have a two year old yorkie. My son wants a kitten for christmas. I'm just starting my research before we decide yes or no. Where is the best place to buy a kitten (no I won't buy from a pet store or kitty mills -- I'm sure they exist!).

Does anyone else have a yorkie and a cat? How do you get them not to eat each other's food? How do you keep your pup out of the litter box? Do they get along?

Our Yorkie is very spoiled, but well behaved, I don't want him to feel displaced by a cat. Also, what about marking, will my Yorkie who was nuetered at 6 months and has never lifted his leg, start marking because there's a cat around? Should we get a male or female?

By now you're probably thinking.. hey crazy lady go ask these Q's on a cat forum... so one more Q.. anyone know a good cat forum?
