If your car has a console, you should get the console carseat - that way she can be right up by your face, but strapped into the carseat. My guys really like it - and they are kinda nervous when they are just free to roam in the car. But in the console carseat, they must feel more secure and will usually just lay down - yet they are close enough to me to lay their heads on my shoulder if they want.
