Many thanks for all of your expert advise. I knew I can count on all of you. Sorry I couldn't respond any sooner. But my boy is doing okay so far. His appetite opened up by the next day i posted.
He is still eating puppy Innova Dry bits. I have given him steamed carrots mashed, mashed bananas, and fresh pears, chopped up and shredded broiled chicken about only 1 tablespoon worth since i didn't know how he would react to it. Also I put about 1/2 tsp of cod liver oil in his meal at midday or morning meal. He has been drinking plenty of water on his own.
The new issue is his potty training. He has been with me only 1 1/2 weeks tomorrow. I pray that I can train him by December since Im planning on going back to school possibly again come Jan or Feb 2007.
