I also use the bell on my puppies. In the beginning, I put a playpen beside my bed and I would put my arm in the playpen so the puppy could feel me until it went to sleep. Then I lifted my arm out. If they awakened during the night I put my arm back in and they went back to sleep. They sleep with me now.

When you go for your visit take a t-shirt, a sock or something that your breeder suggests which has your scent on it and she will get used to it and make the transition easier.
