Yea that's the basic principle. If your yorkie isn't within the standard, it should not be bred. But of course if everyone actually obided by that we wouldn't have mills, brokers, puppy stores, etc. where many out of standard yorkies are sold. If you don't care about the standard then why even get a yorkie??
