That is pretty much the conclusion our schools came to. Those parents who don't want their kids to celebrate Halloween pick them up early. I don't think there are many if any at our school that does not stay. My sons school had a sock hop dance this past Friday for the 4th and 5th graders(my son is 5th) only and they got to wear their costumes and won prizes for best costume. I guess we are lucky our area still has a lot of activities at school for Halloween and still trick or treats. We do only trick or treat in our neighborhood and others where we know most everyone, just to be safe.
